Thank you to Katee Robert, NetGalley, and Sourcebooks for the advance reader copy of Neon Gods, the first story in the Dark Olympus series. I was over the moon to be approved for a copy of Neon Gods from Sourcebooks on NetGalley. I absolutely adored Katee’s series on Disney Villians, Wicked Villains. Like I really really loved the Wicked Villains series. And as someone who has always been a Greek mythology fan, I was so ready to dive head first into this Hades and Persephone retelling. Check out the Goodreads synopsis… “He was supposed to be a myth. But from the moment I crossed the River Styx and fell under his dark spell……he…

J.E. Birk’s Booklover ARC Review
Thank you to J.E. Birk, Sarina Bowen, Jenn Gaffney, and the team at the World of True North for the advance reader copy of Booklover, the sixth story in the Vino & Veritas series. Another awesome release in the Vino & Veritas series! And this time we are getting the biggest troop of book lovers who accompany our main characters in a book club. Because what is a bookstore if not a perfect place to start a book club! Check out the Goodreads synopsis… “Two guys meet over a stack of romance novels. Soon they’re turning pages late into the night… Jamie Morin’s college GPA drops every time a cow breaks through…

L.A. Witt’s Aftermath ARC Review
Thank you to L.A. Witt, Sarina Bowen, Jenn Gaffney, and the rest of the team at the World of True North for the advance reader copy of Aftermath, the fifth story in the Vino & Veritas series. This has been one of my favourite instalments in the Vino & Veritas series. Brent and Jon’s story is a lot more emotional, painful, and broken. It is not an easy path for these two but it is a read well worth it. Check out the Goodreads synopsis… “Brent Weyland was the life of the party until an injury ended his hockey career. Now he’s retreated alone to a lakefront house, trying to make sense of…

Eliot Grayson’s Undercover ARC Review
Thank you to Eliot Grayson, Sarina Bowen, Jenn Gaffney and the team at the World of Truth North for the advance reader copy of Undercover, the fourth story in the Vino & Veritas series. The world of Vino & Veritas is throwing an FBI agent into the mix. Yet, overall I found this installment a little underwhelming. What made this a fun little read still was the tension and the chemistry, it was off the charts! Check out the Goodreads synopsis… “Gabe wants Alec between the sheets…too bad Alec’s undercover already… Rich kid. Party boy. Gabe is tired of the labels. He’s a smart guy, but ever since he got kicked out of…

Karina Halle’s Black Sunshine ARC Review
Thank you to Karina Halle and Valentine PR for the advance reader copy of Black Sunshine, the first paranormal romance from the author. My excitement for this release is unmatched! Karina has never written a vampire book and the way she documented her writing process online got me so pumped for this book. A perfect book for fans of her horror work like Experiment in Terror and also her darker romances like The Artists Trilogy. Check out the Goodreads synopsis… “All Lenore Warwick wants for her 21st birthday is to hang out with her friends, finish her second year at Berkeley with flying colors, and maybe catch the eye of a hot musician…

Eden Finley’s Headstrong ARC Review
Thank you to Eden Finley, Sarina Bowen and the team at the World of True North for the advance reader copy of Headstrong, the third standalone in the Vino & Veritas series. Finally a little dose of hockey romance to the Vino & Veritas series and it’s in an installment that has a straight man questioning his sexuality. Check out the Goodreads synopsis… A straight guy gives gay hookup tips to a virgin. What could go wrong? When I first met Whit, I couldn’t get away from him fast enough. He’s a hockey player, and I hate everything to do with the sport that once broke my heart. But I can’t help feeling…

Lauren Blakely’s The Muse ARC Review
Thank you to Lauren Blakely and her team for the advance reader copy of The Muse. This surprise release from Lauren releases on March 19th. I was immediately drawn in by the concept of this story. Lauren has never mixed in such mystical and magical elements. I was so excited to be whisked away to Paris and to the Musee d’Orsay, a place I absolutely loved. I am a member of Lauren Blakely’s review team, but I stand by my reviews remaining honest and true. Check out the Goodreads synopsis… “Midnight in Paris meets Night at the Museum! A gorgeous standalone forbidden romance with magical elements! Fall in love with The Muse, a…

Annabeth Albert’s Featherbed ARC Review
Thank you to Annabeth Albert, and Sarina Bowen and her team for the advance reader copy of Featherbed, the first standalone in the Vino & Veritas series of The World of True North. Time to kick off the Vino & Veritas series! The bar was featured briefly in Sarina Bowen’s Roommate. I am pumped for this M/M installment, that brings together a city-slicker and a poultry farmer. Check out the Goodreads synopsis… “When a bookworm on borrowed time meets a younger, free-spirited chicken farmer, sparks and feathers fly… Harrison Phillip Fletcher III isn’t supposed to be here. Not in Burlington, Vermont, not running Vino & Veritas, a quaint inclusive bookstore and wine bar,…

Check out the Goodreads synopsis… “A sexy, swoony falling-for-the-neighbor standalone romance from #1 New York Times bestselling author Lauren Blakely! Just my luck –…

Emma Scott’s The Last Piece of His Heart ARC Review
Thank you to Emma Scott and the team at Valentine PR for the advance reader copy of The Last Piece of His Heart, the final story in the Lost Boys series. The book releases on March 7th! I absolutely adore Emma Scott’s romances as I am guaranteed a soul crushing cry session every time. Emma just writes such beautiful, heart wrenching love stories. This series has skewed a bit younger as these kids are coming of age in their senior year of high school, but that has not forced Emma to tone down the emotionality and heaviness of the issues the characters must deal with. I have been excited for…
