Below I break down my review into the components I value most in my reading experience:
- Characters: Caroline and Ty are two characters we have known throughout the previous books set in this world, making them two characters that I was dying to get a point of view from.
- Setting: The majority of the books sees the two relocate to Charleston for Caroline’s new job and the definite highlight of this was all the Piggly-wiggly jokes that ensued.
- Pacing: It was great, couldn’t ask for anything different.
- Romance (yay or nay?): These two deserved to be happy so much,
espicesally Ty who we see in such a supporting role in the other books. I was so ready to see Ty fall head over heels in love, just like the men he had protected. Caroline as well deserved this, as she had such a horrible boyfriend previously and deserved such a romance that only Ty could provide.
