    Karina Halle’s Lovewrecked ARC Review

Thank you to Karina Halle and the team at Social Butterfly PR for the review copy of Lovewrecked, Karina’s latest standalone contemporary romance. I am not shy on my blog about how much I love Karina and her work. This book is so incredibly personal and I feel as if we have all been on this journey with Karina as she wrote this while in self-isolation. I cannot even imagine how hard it is to write a book through all of this but to write such a powerful romance. She really outdid herself! Check out the Goodreads synopsis below… “Daisy Lewis is experiencing a relentless string of bad luck. Fortunately,…

    Karina Halle’s Disavow ARC Review

Thank you to Karina Halle, Netgalley, and the team at Montlake Romance for the advance review copy of Disavow the standalone conclusion to the Dumonts series. I could not be more excited to bring you another Karina Halle review, love my fellow Canadian so much, she always kills it! Check out the Goodreads synopsis below… “From New York Times bestselling author Karina Halle comes a seductive novel of riches, romance, and redemption. In the Dumont fashion empire, no heir has a reputation as decadent, arrogant, and ruthless as that of Pascal Dumont. Every transgression, an indecent pleasure. Every woman, a conquest. And none is more challenging than his new personal assistant, Gabrielle…

Karina Halle’s The Younger Man ARC Review

Thank you to Karina Halle and the team at Social Butterfly PR for the advance reader copy of The Younger Man. It is so exciting to wrap up a year of reviewing with Karina’s latest and one of her greatest. Karina is so good at an emotionally, heartwrenching, age-gap romance. Check out the Goodreads synopsis below… “Starting over was her only option. Forty-years old and still reeling from a public and painful divorce, Thalia Blackwood is looking for a fresh start, somewhere far away from her upside down life. When she’s offered a new job as the sports therapist for a football (soccer) team, she jumps at the chance. This…

With help from Montlake Romance, I am available to provide an exclusive excerpt, author interview, and a rafflecopter interview if you stick around until the end of the review. Karina Halle’s Discretion ARC Review

Thank you to Karina Halle and Netgalley for the advanced reader copy of the first book in The Dumonts series, Discretion. I was so excited to receive a copy of Discretion! Karina is one of my very very fave authors and I love when she writes in a foreign setting. Check out the Goodreads blurb… “The Riviera means indulgence—if you’ve got money. For Sadie Reynolds, a down-on-her-luck student, the Riviera means dingy hostels and back streets. When a wrong turn puts her in jeopardy, the last thing she expects is to be saved by the most handsome stranger she’s ever locked eyes with. When she later wakes up in a…

Karina Halle’s Nothing Personal ARC Review

I want to thank Karina Halle and Social Butterfly PR for the advance copy of Nothing Personal. I was super excited to end 2018 with the final release I was anticipating being from Karina Halle. I have been such a huge fan of Karina Halle. She was the first author I ever covered in an author spotlight and I have always been biased when it comes to her as we share the same hometown. As this is my final review of 2018, I want to touch on what this means to me. I picked blogging back up this year and took a risk focusing exclusively on NA books. I am so…

My Top 5 Most Anticipated 2018 Fall Releases (and Assignment #1)

When I say that I am excited and nervous for fall book releases I am not kidding. The excitement comes from the next installments in some of my favourite series. The nerves come from two of my favourite series concluding this fall. Let’s start with excitement! Tangled Like Us releases sometime this fall (a date has not been set yet, but hopefully will soon.) Tangled Like Us is the fourth book in the Like Us Series (which is the spinoff series to the phenomenal Addicted series). The Like Us series follows the children of the characters of Krista and Becca Ritchie’s previous series. This world of their’s is one of my absolute favourites. Without…

    Author Spotlight on Karina Halle

In author spotlight, I want to write dedicated posts to highlight an author that I believe deserves more attention both in and out of the NA literature fandom. It was a no-brainer for me to start out with Karina Halle (pronounced like Halle Berry, my stupid brain pronounced it differently for a long time). She is definitely one of the hardest working authors out there. Plus she’s a hometown girl for me (both of us were born in Vancouver, Canada (and she still lives close by)), which bleeds into the settings of so many of her books. Karina is a machine. She is my most read author, and here’s the…
