Katee Robert’s Midnight Ruin ARC Review

Thank you to Katee Robert, Sourcebooks Casablanca, and Raincoast for the advance reader copy of Midnight Ruin, the sixth book in the Dark Olympus series. I am nothing if not consistent, and I consistently love Katee Robert’s throuple novels so damn much. Midnight Ruin is phenomenal, I’ve read it twice through before writing this review. If you have not started this series yet I beg you to start with Neon Gods and let yourself be taken away on this rollercoaster of fast-paced political intrigue and toe-curlingly good romance. I am a Katee Robert review team member, but I remain honest and genuine in my reviews. Eurydice Dimitriou has always been the…

    Sienna Snow’s Own ARC Review

Thank you to Sienna Snow and the team at Dangerous Press for the advance reader copy of Own, the third and final story in the Violent Delights trilogy. I enjoyed the first book of this series, Claim had such an interesting presence and characters. Then when I read Defy I was a bit worried about the direction this trilogy is going. I am super happy to see that the story has been turned around. I will always have a soft spot for the first instalment, but nonetheless, I enjoyed this trilogy overall. I am a Dangerous Press review team member, but I remain honest and genuine in my reviews. Damon Pierce…

Devney Perry’s Sable Peak ARC Review

Thank you to Devney Perry and her team for the advance reader copy of Sable Peak, the final book in The Edens series. It is bittersweet to see The Edens come to an end. I have been such a fan of Devney’s for a long time, and this series just raised the bar. Indigo Ridge remains not just one of my favourite Devney Perry books but one of my favourite romance novels I have ever read. This was a perfect send-off to the world and the family that we love along with a beautiful story for characters I have been excited to see depicted for a while. I am a…

This book had everything and more! I am a Melanie Harlow review team member, but I remain honest and genuine in my reviews. Fall in love with my enemy? No way. Katee Robert’s Hunt on Dark Waters ARC Review

Thank you to Katee Robert, Berkley, and NetGalley for the advance reader copy of Hunt on Dark Waters. I have been excited about this since Katee first started talking about it online. This book has it all pirates, witches, and vampires. This very much felt like Dungeons and Dragons fanfiction in the best way possible, as it paid homage to classes like paladin along with throwing in the traditional fantastical creatures we all love! I am a member of Katee Robert’s review, but I remain honest and genuine in my reviews. Sail the magical high seas with this first book in a new sexy fantasy romance series from Katee Robert, the…

Lauren Blakley’s Puck Yes ARC Review

Thank you to Lauren Blakley and her team for the advance reader copy of Puck Yes, the second story in the My Hockey Romance series. This one just did not hit for me. It put me into a deep reading slump and if not for the fact that I wanted to review it I don’t know if I would have finished it. I am a Lauren Blakely review team member, but I remain honest and genuine in my reviews. The hotshot new hockey player, the veteran team captain, and the woman they fall for when she becomes the new team mascot in a fake marriage hockey rom com! When my ex…

    Sienna Snow’s Defy ARC Review

Thank you to Sienna Snow and the team at Dangerous Press for the advance reader copy of Defy, the second book in the Violent Delights trilogy. I did really enjoy the first book in the Violent Delights trilogy, Claim. After its explosive ending, I was clamouring to get my hands on the continuation of Sophie and Damon’s story. While I did not enjoy this instalment as much as its predecessor I am keen to pick up this story’s conclusion come December. I am a Dangerous Press review team member, but I remain honest and genuine in my reviews. Sophia Morelli’s wild and rebellious nature has earned her a notorious reputation in…

    Karina Halle’s Hollow ARC Review

Thank you to Karina Halle and her team for the advance reader copy of Hollow, book one of a duet with the conclusion Legend coming on October 30th. It is part of the A Gothic Shade of Romance series, which will be made up of various horror and gothic romance retellings. Hollow is a retelling of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Karina never misses! I knew this retelling was in good hands because I knew she could definitely deliver something equally spooky and steamy. If you are looking for a smutty read this spooky season look no further. I am a Karina Halle review team member, but I remain honest and…

    K. Webster’s The Unruly ARC Review

Thank you to K. Webster and her team for the advance reader copy of The Unruly, the fourth story set in The Wild universe and the follow-up to The Untamed. I want to preface my review with a warning that one should check the trigger warnings before diving into not just this book but any book from the world of The Wild. I found this book incredibly intense and I want to warn people now that my being uncomfortable did affect my review. I am a K. Webster review team member, but I remain honest and genuine in my reviews. “They took everything from us.Our home. Our family. Our freedom. We’ve…

Sierra Simone’s Salt Kiss ARC Review

Thank you to Sierra Simone and her team for the advance reader copy of Salt Kiss, the first book in the new Lyonesse series. The anticipation for this series is unmatched! I adore Sierra Simone’s New Camelot series, as those books were some of the first of hers I ever read. I was over the moon excited to see Sierra Simone decide to do another take on an old legend, this time the story of Tristan and Isodole. This story is definitely setting the stage for something bigger and I cannot wait to see where Sierra takes us. I am a Sierra Simone review team member, but I remain honest and…
