    Karina Halle’s Discretion ARC Review

Thank you to Karina Halle and Netgalley for the advanced reader copy of the first book in The Dumonts series, Discretion. I was so excited to receive a copy of Discretion! Karina is one of my very very fave authors and I love when she writes in a foreign setting. Check out the Goodreads blurb… “The Riviera means indulgence—if you’ve got money. For Sadie Reynolds, a down-on-her-luck student, the Riviera means dingy hostels and back streets. When a wrong turn puts her in jeopardy, the last thing she expects is to be saved by the most handsome stranger she’s ever locked eyes with. When she later wakes up in a…

Karina Halle’s My Life in Shambles ARC Review

I want to thank Karina Halle and SocialButterflyPR for the advance reader copy of Karina’s latest release, Life in Shambles. I am such a loyal Karina fan having read the vast majority of her books, and loving all of them. If you never read any Karina Halle, check out this post on where to start. Check out the Goodreads synopsis below… “When Valerie Stephens made the resolution to say yes to new adventures, she never thought she’d end up in the tiny town of Shambles, fake engaged to one of Ireland’s top rugby players. But there’s a first time for everything. They say bad things happen in threes. After my boyfriend broke…

Karina Halle’s Nothing Personal ARC Review

I want to thank Karina Halle and Social Butterfly PR for the advance copy of Nothing Personal. I was super excited to end 2018 with the final release I was anticipating being from Karina Halle. I have been such a huge fan of Karina Halle. She was the first author I ever covered in an author spotlight and I have always been biased when it comes to her as we share the same hometown. As this is my final review of 2018, I want to touch on what this means to me. I picked blogging back up this year and took a risk focusing exclusively on NA books. I am so…

My Top 5 Most Anticipated 2018 Fall Releases (and Assignment #1)

When I say that I am excited and nervous for fall book releases I am not kidding. The excitement comes from the next installments in some of my favourite series. The nerves come from two of my favourite series concluding this fall. Let’s start with excitement! Tangled Like Us releases sometime this fall (a date has not been set yet, but hopefully will soon.) Tangled Like Us is the fourth book in the Like Us Series (which is the spinoff series to the phenomenal Addicted series). The Like Us series follows the children of the characters of Krista and Becca Ritchie’s previous series. This world of their’s is one of my absolute favourites. Without…

    Author Spotlight on Karina Halle

In author spotlight, I want to write dedicated posts to highlight an author that I believe deserves more attention both in and out of the NA literature fandom. It was a no-brainer for me to start out with Karina Halle (pronounced like Halle Berry, my stupid brain pronounced it differently for a long time). She is definitely one of the hardest working authors out there. Plus she’s a hometown girl for me (both of us were born in Vancouver, Canada (and she still lives close by)), which bleeds into the settings of so many of her books. Karina is a machine. She is my most read author, and here’s the…
