My guilty pleasure series is back! I’ve loved returning to the smuttiest neighbourhood in Nashville, this time with a story filled with an age gap, voyeurism, and a forbidden workplace romance. These are some of the most scorchingly hot books I have ever read and I never want Nikki Sloane to stop writing them.
I used to be daddy’s little princess, but I failed out of college and ran away with an older man. Now my father has me cleaning houses to make up for the biggest mistake of my life.
As if that wasn’t punishment enough, it becomes a million times worse when I’m forced to take on Noah Robinson as a client.
He was supposed to be a one-night stand. One scorching night with no last names or commitment. Now I’m working for him, and every week that goes by it gets harder for us to keep things professional.
Plus, the more I learn about him and the secret, sexy lifestyle he lives, the deeper my craving for him becomes.
But I’m out of chances with my father, I can’t risk blowing my life up again.

- Characters: Our heroine is Charlotte, she’s in her early twenties and is back living with her parents after the double whammy of dropping out of college and ending a long-term relationship with a man who did not treat her right. Enter Noah, he is the newest employee at Charlotte’s father’s company. He’s much older, but he doesn’t do love and Charlotte doesn’t just do casual sex so their one-night stand ends there until their tension and their attraction cannot be contained. When we meet Charlotte she’s a bit of a spoiled daddy’s girl but all she needs is a character arc of self-discovery, to grow alongside someone who supports her dreams like Noah.
- Setting: Nikki Sloane has brought us back to this iconic neighbourhood in Nashville, but this instalment feels the most separate from the others yet. There is a brief cameo and some wise words from Preston, but largely, this story stands alone. There is also an incredibly spicy cameo featuring Lilith, Clay, and Travis, so fans of this series get to enjoy some very nice Easter eggs.
- Pacing: This was such a delicious, fast, and easy read. I always describe these books as my ultimate guilty pleasure scene as you can fly through them, if you need a series binge on a vacation these would be perfect.
- Romance: Noah and Charlotte’s romance begins as this steamy, forbidden escapade but grows with such tension and so many swoon-worthy moments. It was especially rewarding to read Charlotte getting a man she deserved in Noah, he might be dominant in the bedroom and at the club but outside of that he’s a gentleman and incredibly alluring.
- Spice: The spice is next level! It was hot scene after hot scene. This is the perfect book for the romance reader who enjoys a love story about a single couple but does not mind when the spice extends past that couple. I loved the way Charlotte’s character growth also meant an awakening to what she likes both in and out of the bedroom, readers will love her finding out that she is a bit of a voyeur (she finds out in the best way possible). Not for the faint of heart spice reader with a scene over thirty pages long, just buckle in for quite the bull ride.
