I absolutely adore Helena Hunting’s books and this new release is awesome. It has the perfect quirkiness that Helena brings to her books.

• Characters: Blaire and Ronan are the main characters of this love story. Blaire is the quirky main character of Kiss My Cupcake, she has distanced herself from her weird family and is opening her own cupcake business. Ronan runs the neighbouring business and quickly turns on the charm. Blaire quickly falls into competing for customers, business, and ultimately who has the better bar.
• Setting: The setting truly jumps between the two bars, Buttercream and Booze which is Blaire’s bar. B&B sells the cutest cupcakes and fancy cocktails. Ronan’s bar is the Knight Cap which has the classic pub foods, beer and for fun axe throwing!
• Romance: I absolutely adored the chemistry that Blaire and Ronan had. This story is that classic enemies to lovers story where you cannot but wait with bated breath for the couple to finally get together!

Kiss My Cupcake receives five out of five stars.
