Characters: Ivy and Callum are the main love interests in the story. Ivy is a hotel CEO and Callum is her bodyguard. Stone is the third member of the menage and he actually gets quite a few chapters of POV, which is a new take Lauren tried out for this book. She has not really had so much time focused on that third member before.
Setting: Las Vegas has been the setting for this series and for this installment it lent itself perfectly. Ivy is continuing her family legacy the Carmichael Hotels and she finds herself in many a hotel room with Callum and Stone.
Pacing: These After Dark novels from Lauren are super duper quick reads. They are perfect for after reading slumps to break you out of it or as a steamy story to start and finish before falling asleep.
Romance: This story is the closest Lauren has come to the MFM feeling like it could be a long term triad. I understand that she is not writing these books in this manner, but I kinda wanted to see a triad from her. All three characters had great sexual tension with each other so the sex scene was fantastic. In comparison to the other After Dark novels, I just did not feel the same sparks I did when I read those between the characters.
