Characters: Summer and Oliver are the main characters. Oliver is the classy cocky British lawyer guy. While Summer lives up to her name, she is bubbly and a sweet ray of sunshine.
Setting: New York City is always a wonderful setting. It lends itself to some really funny scenes, especially ones in central park.
Pacing: The beginning pacing confused me, I will be honest. We jumped around the time frame of Summer and Oliver’s childhood quite a bit.
Romance: Summer and Oliver are those classic friends to lovers that put off admitting feelings for each other for years. They have spent years stepping in to help each other in awkward romantic situations. From prom dates to decoy girlfriends to this story where Summer becomes Oliver’s fake fianceé.
